The heat shrink tubing becomes soft and rubbery like a hose after shrinking. Not to be compared with ordinary shrink tubing, which becomes hard and rigid.

Tolerates fuels, oils and heat very well! Therefore, it has become the "standard" in professional motorsport to be used as a cable protector.

• Shrinks 2:1
• Wall thickness after shrinkage = 0.84mm ± 0.15mm
• Withstands constant temperature between -75 to +150 degrees celsius
• 175 degrees shrink temperature
• Becomes approx. 10% shorter in length when shrinking
• Black hose with yellow text (NOTE the text is not permanent)
• Resistant to oil, diesel, petrol, aviation fuel and hydraulic fluid.
